Well, Thanksgiving did not go as planned. We were not in the water yet. The ceiling repair version 2 didn’t work. So we found ourselves in a random airbnb in Cocoa Beach, FL very far away from family and friends.

But, Thanksgiving happened! We had delicious food and a beautiful evening together in our humble abode.

It’s hard not to let the weight of the journey crush us some days. We are living in a state of gratitude and humility.

And our only goal after Thanksgiving was…get in the water before Christmas.

11/30/2025 Fiberglass and Epoxy, oh my

We continue to make repairs and upgrades to the boat. We had a big setback this past week that was a big downer. The fix we made to our ceiling (one of the biggest projects) didn’t work. But we rallied and had a wonderful Thanksgiving together as a family, without fiberglass in our clothes and epoxy in our hair. We hope you all had a wonderful time with family and friends. …

The weather finally cooled down, so it’s been way better to work on the boat. Also, Kramer has turned into houdini and keeps figuring out how to sneak off the boat. He is ridiculous. 

We are grateful for this life and for you all! We are getting so close. The last 20% is the always the hardest. We should make big progress this week with the ceiling, floor, windows, and moving everything onto the boat for living.
